Adoption Fees
Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?
Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Golden Re-triever Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the Goldens.
Adoption Fees:
- $700.00 - Puppies 0 through 1 year old
- $500.00 - Dogs aged 1 years through year 7
- $300.00 - Dogs aged 7 years and up
Fees for pairs or dogs with special needs will be determined on a case by case basis.
Adoption Inclusions:
Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Golden Re-triever Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Golden Re-triever Rescue dogs will be current on their core vaccines and will have the following:
- Wellness Exam
- Bloodwork & Urinalysis
- 4DX Test (tests for Heartworm, Lyme, Erlichia, Anaplasmosis)
- Rabies Vaccine (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
- Micro-chipped
- Spay / Neuter
- Nail Trim
- Ear Cleaning
- Bathing / Grooming
- Other Vaccines (as necessary)
- Other Items Vet Determines to be Necessary (teeth cleaning, x-rays, etc.)
