  • Matching Employer Programs:

    Donor should check with employer for specifics. Many employers have Matching Gift programs which would double your donation.

  • Donations in Memoriam:

    A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.

  • Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities:

    This method conserves the donor's cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year's tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

  • Direct Gifts of Life Insurance:

    If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the Golden Re-triever Rescue may provide benefits to both Golden Re-triever Rescue and the donor. GRRI-NJ would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy's value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

  • Wills:

    The donor may list GRRI-NJ as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor's death.
