He was as good as gold but his family still didn't want him. They felt they couldn't give him enough time and it wasn't fair to him.

This well-behaved pup was a dream come true for the young family that adopted him. He walked well on a leash, didn't dig, jump or bark. He did chew, but what puppy doesn't?

Tucker loves everybody, particularly children. And his new forever home on Staten Island has three children for him to love and play with. He even helps deliver newspapers every morning!

As the father told our volunteer shortly after Tucker joined their family, "We have a wonderful family … a new house … a big, fenced in yard … but I knew something was missing. Then we adopted Tucker and now our family is now complete.  Thank-you Golden Re-Triever Rescue."
