Max is a five-year-old golden who proves every day what a little love and compassion can do.  Max was ignored, intimidated and possibly even abused in his original home, where he slept alone in the laundry room with no toys to play with.  He was very meek and passive, and had a problem with submissive urination.

Max's new forever family showered him with love and patience, and his golden resilience shone through. They taught him how to play, and now Max is proud of his very large toy collection.  At bedtime, Max searches for his favorite bunny toy and carries it squeaking upstairs to his very own bed in a bedroom he shares with his mom and dad.

His days are spent roaming his new home (where he has no submissive urination problem), running on the nearby beach, swimming, being ignored by his cat siblings, and playing catch and tug-of-war with all his new toys.

A great family has turned Max into a happy, healthy and affectionate golden who proves once again the power of love.
