Lexi and Killian were looking for a new home  together.

Lexi, the pretty little 3-year old female, and Killian, the handsome 5-year old reddish gold male, were given up for adoption because their owner no longer had the time to care for them. These two wonderful dogs had such a strong bond to each other that it was unthinkable to separate them.

Since they adored children, it was important that we find them a home with kids. And since they're also great escape artists,  it was important that they have a fenced in yard, AND an owner that could keep  an eye on them at ALL times!

We found such a home for them. Their new mom reported  that they adjusted very well and are two very happy dogs. And Golden Re-Triever Rescue got an added bonus. Not only did we find an excellent home for these two Goldens, we also got ourselves a new volunteer!
