Lady was 8 years old when she was given up to GRRI-NJ for adoption. After living with her foster family for two months, her picture was put on the website. Her soon to be new family saw her picture and it was love at first sight. When their application was approved they drove down six hours from northern Vermont to pick her up. Lady is now a city girl gone country. She loves the snow and even has gone on her first snowmobile ride. She was however, happy to find that there really was grass underneath all that snow. Her new forever family reports that it's been a joy watching her discover and explore her new world. So far she has seen her first moose, snowshoe hare and woodchuck. And she's been swimming in the many lakes and ponds there. Lady is a wonderful addition to their lives, and they tell us they are so happy to have her. They also wanted to thank everyone at GRRI, and especially Maureen, for making it happen.
