Elma Smith decided it was time to get herself a new dog, and she always wanted a Golden Retriever. What better place to turn then Golden Re-Triever Rescue. Her sister told her she was crazy. "Those people will never give you a dog - you're too old". Two days later we called.

There was never any doubt in Elma's mind that Ginger was the dog for her. Sight unseen, she told us that she was coming to get her dog that weekend. These two "senior" ladies  hit it off right away, walking the track every morning and evening. "We all could lose some weight!" quipped Elma.
