Cosmo was a playful, energetic 10-year-old male who was brought to a vet clinic to be euthanized because his family was moving and couldn't take him with them. A sympathetic rescue volunteer felt this young-at-heart guy deserved to live and asked for GRRI-NJ's assistance.

Cosmo had to be neutered and brought up to date on his shots, but the doctor's exam showed no major health concerns. A potential adopter heard his story and wanted to give him a loving home for as many years as he has left. They were introduced, and Cosmo's smile and puppy (yes, puppy!) exuberance were a winning combination.

Cosmo was introduced to his new friends Bailey, 1 1/2, and Sophie, 4, and had no trouble keeping up with the younger dogs. He celebrated the beginning of his new life by playing ball, rolling in the grass, and getting his belly scratched!

He now lives the "cosmopolitan" life commuting between his Philadelphia townhouse and the family estate in Northern New Jersey.
