Originally called Big Red when he came into our program he was then renamed Bruce by his adoptive Mom,  Julie.

Julie had contacted GRRI-NJ looking for a golden after losing her beloved golden friend Nugget.

Bruce took to his new home at the Jersey Shore and his half sister Honey, a Labrador Retriever right away. Julie reported that Bruce is a wonderful, gentle, patient, tolerant and well behaved dog ... though he does occasionally sneak a snack if the opportunity presents itself.   (But then again, who doesn't?)
