The family that purchased Brodie at a pet store turned him in to GRRI-NJ  after only a week because the kids wouldn't take care of him. At three and a half months, Brodie was in that gawky, gangly "all paws and legs" stage, but he had a gentle and sweet disposition, and our volunteer knew he had the potential to be a handsome golden as he matured.

Brodie's new adoptive family had all the patience and room to run that a young pup needed. Brodie now lives in Sussex County on a 10 1/2 acre horse farm. He lives with Casey, a 10-year-old golden, as well as five horses, four goats, three sheep, two cats, and partridge in a pear tree.  (only kidding about the pear tree!) And as if all those animals aren't enough, there are also two teenagers to play ball with him.

Brodie runs out every morning to say hello and kiss his favorite horse.   Sounds like Brodie enjoys the farm life!
