He was passed from home-to-home. His
original owners gave him the basic care that any living
animal requires to live, but no emotional love. His second
home kept him constrained in the kitchen because he was too
hyper with the small toddlers in the family. Bristol was one
unhappy boy.
Then he was surrendered to Golden
Re-Triever Rescue. The first thing our adoption coordinator
did was make arrangements for him to go to doggy boot camp
for a course in basic obedience training. Then she needed to
make sure he was matched with the perfect family to meet his
needs - one that was loving, dog savvy, experienced in dog
training, and most important, with older kids. And she found
just the family.
"Bristol Murphy" thinks he died and went
to heaven. He is one VERY HAPPY dog. He loves to lay on the
floor with his "mom" and just snuggle for hours. He has a
large backyard to play in and two "boy-kids" to call his
own. Kids are in and out all day, not only to play with the
two boys, but also Bristol! He's getting tons of love and
structure in his life
.just what he needed.
