Nancy and Philip Hughes, along with their 4-year old daughter, needed a dog to love. Amber, a 4-year old Golden, needed a new home and a family to love her. It was a match made in heaven.

Amber was given up by her previous owners because they did not have the time to properly care for a Golden. The Hughes had recently lost their Golden, Murphy, to cancer, and decided it was time to open their home and hearts to a rescue dog. Once they met her, they knew she was the dog for them.

This delightful girl  spent her time going everywhere with her new family. She enjoyed long walks, playing with the neighborhood children and dogs, and being spoiled rotten!

With sadness, we note that Amber has passed away.
