Moses, we barely got a chance to know you. It's hard to believe that we met only two months ago. You were an underweight stray, dirty and hungry, limping from the effects of Lyme Disease and hip dysplasia, just looking for someone to love and love you in return. That sweet, compassionate Golden disposition was with you to the end.

Golden Re-Triever Rescue took you in, cleaned you up, and placed you in a wonderful foster home where you were nursed back to health and lavished with love.

You spent a wonderful seven weeks with these two compassionate women; they loved you like you were their own. Who was to know that you would be taken from us so unexpectedly? You never showed a hint of pain.

We never got the chance to place you in your new "forever home". But our pain is lessened by knowing that your last months on this earth were happy. You were loved and well cared for. You had a roof over your head and food in your stomach. We'll miss you.
