Lainie was the most "precious,
kindest, unconditional loving companion a person could ever have; the
real-life dream come true of their life"... dog. When Lainie adopted
us in April 2002, we were tip toeing on uncharted territory... we
had never adopted an older dog, much less brought a second dog into our
home and lives. We already had Stella, our then 2 1/2 year old crazy,
putting it mildly, Golden. What had we done??, And, we had just also
moved into a second floor condo... were we crazy???

Yes, immediately crazy in
love.
We were so very blessed to have
Lainie come into our lives when she did. To say she brought us happiness
and cheer doesn't begin to say it all. She brought pure unconditional
love. And she taught my now 20 month old granddaughter how to "touch
nice" when petting a dog. Elaine loved, being touched, handled, massaged
and belly rubbed, you name it, both by a 20 month old toddler as well
as the same attention she received from the 94 year old gentleman who
lives in our condo development. My oldest daughter, 32 and confined to a
wheelchair, couldn't get enough of Lainie's nudging for more
petting! Elaine truly touched so many lives.

On behalf of Elaine, we would
like to express our absolute pure gratitude to GRRI-NJ for matching us
with the kindest and purest dog on this Earth. She made our family
complete and she will be missed by all who knew her.
