Your big blue bunny is still sitting in our bedroom where you would go in ritual fashion just before bedtime every night and bring him out into the family room, throw him around until you were tired, then lie down and rest your chin on top of him as you gave me that look that said, "It's time for bed."

Following me into the bedroom, holding your head as high as you could to keep from tripping over bunny's limp arms and legs, you would spring up onto the bed and wait for me to climb in next to you. We miss you so much, Andy.

I miss stroking your silky smooth fur as you would fall asleep with your head on my chest every night. Linda misses you when she cuts carrots and remembers how you would suddenly appear out of nowhere and stand next to her in a most conspicuous way. Whitney misses you sneaking into her room and stealing her stuffed animals, claiming them as your own. People didn't know that all the stuffed animals in the world were yours; they just had them on loan from you.

We packed a lot of fun into your seven years. But that wasn't hard because you were a fun dog. You loved life and you loved people.

Most of all, you loved us ... and we loved you.
