OK, so he's NOT a Golden.  But this hilarious book made our list anyway.  Letters from a rambunctious pooch to his exasperated owner combine with delightful illustrations in Dear Mrs. LaRue -- Letters from Obedience School.  Wonderful for children ages 4 - 8.
